The Iridium itself can generate a fair amount of gain, particularly in the Plexi mode, but I'd definitely like something that can push it over the top. But on my smaller board, where I base it around the Strymon Iridium, I don't have. The Strymon Iridium seems perfect since it would neatly take care of all three of these things for me, but I've been reading that apparently running it into an amp (or through the FX loop as I'm considering trying) isn't recommended since the IR won't sound good through a speaker. The ACS1 has very little, so if you want more, you're going to have to hit it with a drive pedal. Nothing more than a light crunch like to the amount you'd expect from cooking AC-30, but more often really just a boost to push an already gainer preamp.
